| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Not Much! Eventual normal wear out of Starter (220k miles, not km) Alternator (190k) Water Pump (150k) Some oil consumption and leakage at oil pump since 180k. Original Radiator Hoses started seeping at 240k. Lower RH control arm and rear Shock upper mounts corroded through at 160-190k due to road salt. Exhaust system lasted 160k+ A/C condenser punctured from road debris at 190k Axle boots seem to last about 120k | |
| General comments? | One VERY durable and long-lasting car. The 3-speed auto trans lacks overdrive so the mileage is not spectactular. Easy to drive and maintain. Mine has 250,000 miles + on the original front struts and entire steering system including the power steering! The auto trans has never needed repairs, having had fluid changed yearly. The TIRES have over 120k on them! | |
